Doctor minister George Bothwell dies after cork inhalation
The Rev Dr George Bothwell of the Church of the Covenant died in a Brooklyn hospital after two weeks of suffering from inhaling a cork. At his bedside were his wife, Rev Dr Stokes, two nurses, and Ambulance Surgeon Yous. Born in Ohio 41 years ago, he studied at Adrian College and Yale before becoming a Congregational minister in 1876 and moving to Brooklyn last January. He leaves a widow and two young children.
