Elizabeth B Hansen, 43, left her home at 4 Saxon Court East Boston Monday and has not been seen since. She appeared unwell recently and may be de mented. She left a note saying she would return about 2 PM to work. She is described as tall and stocky with blue eyes and red face, last seen near East Boston court house heading toward the ferry. Police search continues.

Banquet II trained by M F Dwyer of New York took the 2000 guineas trial at Newmarket with seven starters. Le gal Tender was second and Esmond third as Banquet II held the lead from the bushes finishing three lengths clear Simms rode Madden to clock Legal Tender who was three-quarters of a length ahead of Esmond. Pot Luck and Mecar followed. American horse Montauk, owned by Richard Croker, attracted interest among onlookers though clocking was deemed unreliable.

Forgery Suspect Brought to Boston to Face Nine Charges
Arthur French was removed from the Pittsburg workhouse and delivered to Boston Detective John H. Harris today. He is to be taken to Boston to answer nine forgery charges. French allegedly followed an actress to the city months ago and forged several businessmen’s signatures to obtain funds for gifts to the woman.

Jealous husband shoots wife then kills himself in Brazil Indiana
In Brazil Indiana James Young a janitor shot and killed his wife on a porch in Hoosierville where she stayed with her parents then returned to the Brazil courthouse and killed himself. The couple had separated and jealousy was blamed for the crime.
