Hans and Amelia Peterson both died in their Cambridge residence at 1410 Cambridge Street after a gas incident. Police and medical examiners suggest possible accidental carbon monoxide or gas exposure as the couple slept, leaving their son Olaf informed in Roxbury.
Mrs. Roosevelt and her children aboard the President's yacht Mayflower are stormbound at Riverside about 30 miles down the Potomac River awaiting better weather. A steamer reaching Washington tonight confirmed the situation as heavy rain continues.
Major Francis Mereden of the Fifth Regiment presided over the meeting of Company B in Cambridge last night to elect a captain. Lieutenant C. W.
