About 1500 Boston brewery employees and the Boston Brewers’ Association planned a 2:30 PM meeting at No 2 Pemberton Square to avert a strike tomorrow. President F H McCarthy of the Massachusetts A F of L and President James R Croizer of the C L U aided in arranging the talks with Union 14 and 29 contract committees. Union 14 and 29 had meetings yesterday to assess progress as the unions weigh next steps.

Fire at Pike Opera House crowds theatre in Cincinnati
A blaze at the Pike building where the Pike Opera House is located partially destroyed the theatre this afternoon. The body of Samugl Collins with throat cut was found in a cave berth in Salt Lake City.
