George Bates 19 of New York and Jack Owen 27 were arrested at Mrs Mary Porter lodging house 104 Norfolk Street Cambridge after refusing to give an address. They faced charges of possessing burglars tools while confronted by three Cambridge police officers at gun point.

Washington March 28 The joint congressional postal commission adopted experts report disapproving privatization of the Boston Postoffice Building. The commission said selling the present building and building a new one elsewhere would not improve mail handling, so the current Postoffice Establishment will be continued.
The jury found boxing promoter George L. Rickard not guilty of criminal assault on 15 year old Sarah Schoenfeld in the New York Supreme Court. After the verdict Rickard embraced his lawyer Max D. Steuer and praised the decision. Spectators applauded as foreman Albert C. Hoy announced the acquittal, despite court cautions.
A man claiming the name Patrick Sullivan but giving no address was hospitalized after a cerebral hemorrhage near St James Church in Harrison Avenue. Police sought to identify him as he remained on the danger list at City Hospital.
An overturned kerosene lamp in the residence of Ernest Morgan on the second floor of a three story building at 12 Norwell Street Dorchester started a fire in a closet yesterday afternoon. The blaze was extinguished with damages totaling 50 dollars.
