Fight in Fay Street cellar ends with two injured
Police stopped a violent melee in a Fay Street cellar near Harrison Avenue just before midnight. Anthony Zaiatz 24 and Peter Schnotsky 40 were taken to City Hospital with facial and head lacerations after bottles and knives were used. Schnotsky's wife Alice and another man fled. About 500 spectators and Bristol Street firemen helped contain the scene. Police say Mrs Schnotsky wielded a knife and seek assault charges against Schnotsky. no charges yet for Zaiatz and Schnotsky.

Body of James Cardinal Gibbons Lies In State
