The Pied Piper at the Boston Theatre Review
The Boston Theatre staging of The Pied Piper of Hamelin adapts Browning with ballet lace costumes and a chorus of small girls. Wilke as Singgold offers a mostly theatrical performance while the piper’s music fails to capture mystic charm. Between acts, M. Bellac and the Moxon brothers entertain the crowd with clever feats.
