General Pershing announces the army has located the murderer in the mountains and will pursue. Flying Cavalry completed a swift 110 mile dash in two days and troops are ready for action as the hunt intensifies.
The March 18 despatch from the American army reports Pershing leading a 110 mile dash into Mexico with 42 hours of marching. Troops reached a censor name location and press on to locate Francisco Villa amid reports of raids on Americans and nearby colonies.
Lil lian Bell Duval a 26 year old vaudeville singer and dancer committed suicide yesterday morning in her lodging house kitchen at 396 Northampton Street by turning on two gas cocks after locking the room window to ensure death. Despondent over ill health and estrangement from her husband for over a year.
Miss Duval known as Lillian Bell, heiress dancer singer and actress, was found in her rented room by Mrs. Sadie Buckley. She died en route to hospital after gas was cut off and a doctor arrived. Once married to Jimmy Duval of Revere, she had a turbulent career and life with few possessions remained.
