Police Relief Association Meets at Charity Building
The Police Relief Association held a Monday afternoon meeting at the charity building. A vote of thanks was given to Stillman B. Allen for presenting a $100 check. Sergt. Thomas Ryan was elected treasurer with $5,000 bonds. Funds remain with the finance committee until the treasurer qualifies. A committee including Sergt. Geo. A. Walker Inspector P. A. Mahony and Lieut. J. B. Blanchard will study placing funds under a board of trustees and assess legality. Standing bills will be settled once by laws are approved.
