The Evacuation Day parade to mark the 146th anniversary of the British evacuation from Boston will start at Andrew Square at 2:30 PM weather permitting. Chief Marshal Edward G. Lendon announced headquarters that about 10,000 will march, with possible larger turnout.
Chief Marshal Lennon leads the parade with Aide-de-Camp William J. McCluskey Chief of Staff Frank J. Scott and Adjutant Daniel J. Lynch. Staff includes Major-General Clarence R. Edwards Brigadier-Generals Mark Hersey John H. Sherburne John J. Sullivan Edward L. Logan John H. Dunn. The roster lists 37 military units led by 11th Infantry commanded by Colonel Thomas F. Foley. One feature will be a complete line of march with armored units and bands.
Cairo March 16 United News reports a new king, Fuad I, now ruling Egypt as an independent sovereign since Cleopatra. The declaration of independence comes with demonstrations in native quarters and a British pact preserving protection of British interests.

In Norfolk Superior Court at Dedham the Commonwealth pressed that Caleb Loring Cunningham used a 30 caliber Mauser to kill John Johnson, a West Quincy laborer, after a quarrel. The prosecution presented the alleged death rifle as evidence, with Cunningham claiming he feared for his life.
John Duval Dodge son of the late Detroit automotive magnate was sentenced by Judge Charles J. Bartlett to five days in the county jail for speeding. He must pay a 100 dollar fine and lose his license for one year. A 10 thousand dollar damages suit for alleged injuries to 12 year old Edwin Schultz followed.
Members of Milk Wagon Drivers Union 380 refused a five dollar per week wage cut proposed by milk dealers. The union keeps the 38 dollar weekly rate with three days off monthly and two weeks paid summer vacation, and will renew talks Feb 28. A meeting is set for next Thursday to hear conference updates.
Taunton report alleges Joseph E. Warner and Harold F. Hathaway formed an unlawful partnership to improperly enrich themselves while Warner was Speaker. The claim hinges on alleged fee splitting. no public funds are described as involved.
Lieut. Governor Alvan T. Fuller presented in Superior Court an explanation for the charge he made against Warner during the 1920 Republican bid for lieutenant governor. The testimony reflects intra party dispute amid the campaign period.
In Holbrook the recount of votes for selectmen shows Edward J. Megley Democrat and Peter J. Vincent Republican each with 443 votes with one ballot in doubt.

Barnes of New Canaan Conn set a world record with 20 616 pounds of milk and 1006 pounds of butter fat produced in a year authenticated test The cow aged six years and 11 months was rebun Feb 25 1921 She is the offspring of Fauviec's Prince and was handled by R L Stevenson St Mawes Pretty Lady owned by L C Daniels of Tillamook Oregon won the jersey senior two year old championship with 12500 pounds of milk and 24 33 pounds butter fat.
After extended debate the House ordered a third reading on Advance Bill 10 by a 120 to 38 vote. The measure would allow removal of a mayor in a Massachusetts city found guilty of malfeasance before three Superior Court judges, with automatic suspension upon petition.
The House struck out the suspension provision on filing the removal petition and amended the bill to have three superior court judges hear the charges and make the decision.
Washington March 16 United News John McHenry a youthful murderer will hang tomorrow morning. President Harding will not intervene to stay the execution despite agitation on McHenry's behalf with word from St Augustine confirming the decision.
The note predicts bright fair weather today and tonight with a cooler feel than yesterday. A rural forecast suggests sunny conditions and mild temperatures ahead.
A light auto, a truck, and a taxi collided near Relief Hospital in Hay Market Square. William Levenson, injured with a lacerated left hand, was treated at the hospital and later drove his car to the garage. Taxi driver Thomas Murray, of Jamaica Plain, escaped injury. Stevenson, the other injured man, lives at 8 Isabella Street.
Arthur Griffith, president of the Dail Eireann, has written to the Ministry of Defence to forbid an army convention planned for March 2. He states the move would remove the army from the people elected government and calls the convention illegal.
The romance between Miss Bessie Walton sister of David H. Walton president of Walton Lunch Company and Alexander G. Romanesque former bus boy is revealed as marriage intentions are filed at Baston City Hall. The wedding is set for March 26 at Trinity Church Boston.
Mr Romanesque runs a dining room at Oxford Hall Cambridge serving Harvard students. A violinist and New England Conservatory student, he claimed Romanian noble descent and recalled meeting his bride-to-be while collecting dishes at Walton lunch room near MIT.
