London March 10 The home secretary Reginald McKenna signaled in the House of Commons that Britain and its allies will lift the sugar import ban from America and neutral countries within two to three months. He said German sugar stocks in neutral lands would run dry, allowing purchases that avoid German or Austrian goods. The October decree barred imports to curb re export to Britain.
