Handball Exhibition on Waterfront and Harbor News

A Saturday waterfront handball match at the Atlantic Yacht Club featured Commo dore Dixon and Joe Mack versus John Snee and Pat Croak, each side taking one game amid a band concert. Wrecking work on the Venetian yielded pork and lard as cargo was pumped out, with Alfred Winsor of the Boston Towboat Company visiting the wreck. Public notices critique ferry tolls and passageways as delays and crowding prompt suggestions to Superintendent Burke, while tides shift harbor depths and expose bare docks. The four-masted schooner George A. McFadden, towed to Bath for repairs, plus the Loring C. Hallard, depart in tow on a voyage to Bath. The Landsman.
