The Rev. Father James Gallagher pastor of the Catholic church Milton Massachusetts was arrested today on a charge of intoxication after arriving from Boston. He admitted the charge at arraignment before Justice Driver and was fined five dollars but discharged after the fine was remitted when he could not pay.

In Washington on March 10 Mrs Palmer wife of the Illinois Senator was knocked down by a gust near the Capitol northeast entrance. She suffered a cut to the head but the wound was not serious and she was taken to the Senate ladies room then driven home. A second pair of young women were blown down with one near the stairs losing consciousness briefly.

Brington Maine March 10 Rufus Gibbs aged 91 died today He was a leading businessman contractor and built the town’s first woollen mill He served as president of the Pondicherry Company and of the Brington Savings Bank was a Republican and member of the Maine House in 1878.

A telegram from Chicago announces the death of Charles D. Weld a former Malden resident. He was a chemist and real estate businessman who moved to Chicago years ago. He was 40 and unmarried. The body will be brought back here for burial.
