Murder in Shrewsbury rocks town after stabbing
The body of Patsy Mammolette was found on a rarely used Shrewsbury road with four stab wounds in the back and one in the left breast. He had been jailed six months earlier for assault and robbery, and police suspect revenge by associates tied to past cases. A woman's shoe print and a prowler seen nearby support a theory that Mammolette was lured to the spot by a female accomplice.
