Eloped Boston man bound over on forgery charges

Thomas Gaffney Jr formerly of Roxbury appeared in Municipal Court bound over to the grand jury on $80 for passing worthless checks or obtaining money by false pretences. His bride Grace Peters claimed innocence and sought to be released. the couple had vanished since February 11 after leaving a theatre. Police also seek Gaffney for misappropriating a team and forging his father's name on a $13 check.
