In Albany on March 9 the New York Legislature debated final passage of a bill allowing women to vote in municipal elections. The Senate had approved it earlier by a small margin. I A Ham blacksmith owned lower floors while Wadsworth Howland Co dealers in paints occupied the fourth and fifth. Fire started in the fourth story and was confined to their premises with about 1000 dollars loss to building and stock. water caused slight damage to lower stories. The owner is Sylvester Bowman. Cause is spontaneous combustion.
