Car Jumps Track Injures Dorchester Passengers

Forty two riders were shaken when an Ashmont Milton outbound surface car jumped the tracks on Dorchester Avenue near Mather Street in Dorchester at 9 30 last night. The car tore across 30 feet of pavement before hitting the stone curb, causing many scratches and bruises as passengers piled on the floor. Women and children screamed while bystanders called for help.

Ferry Boat Crash Injures Three At East Boston

A ferry boat named John H. Sullivan struck the East Boston pier at 1125 last night throwing a dozen passengers and several drivers into a panic. Three passengers were hurt enough to require hospital care. everyone on board sustained cuts bruises or a severe shaking.
