Faro men got $150000 from Cambridge Bank

A state official told the Post last night that about $150,000 looted from National City Bank was turned over to faro bank swindlers by George W. Coleman as he tried to break the gambling club they directed him to. Coleman has not yet spoken of his link to the men, while another associate who heard of his losses will confess to federal authorities.

Cudahy Charged In Early Morning Assault In Kansas City

Jere F. Lillis millionaire banker wounded at his home after an unexpected visit by John P. Cudahy wealthy packer and Chicago heir. Burglar Stopped At Gunpoint In South Boston Saloon

An officer from Station 6 in South Boston captured Eugene St. George, a Joliet Quebec resident, after he burglarized the M Donovan Co saloon at 74 Dorchester Avenue by smashing the side door glass and rifling the till. The officer drove the burglar to the station house at gunpoint shortly after 1 am.

Suicide on Boston Common Mirrors Tragedy in City Park

A well dressed middle aged man shot himself on the Charles Street mall at Boston Common about 2 am. A patrolman from Station 3 heard the shot and summoned an ambulance, but the man was already dead. No identification was found on the body.
