Prince Henry, greeted by Mayor Collins, lauds Boston as the hub of the universe and the cradle of American civilization. He cites Massachusetts as birthplace of Emerson Hawthorne Longfellow Agassiz Towle Bancroft Motley Prescott and notes deep historical ties and shared friendship between the peoples.
The speaker lauds strengthened rivalry across literature art and science and says if welcomed back to the United States they would gladly endure another round of interviews with over 1000 American press men. They admit inconvenience from photographers but say the trip was enjoyable.

Mayor Collins, Governor Crane, and Congressman Conry led the tributes as the prince, tired yet composed, received cheers and delivered no remarks beyond a courteous smile.
