New York March 5 Judge Hand in Federal Court granted an injunction preventing Collector William Loeb Jr from dumping 2217 packages of tea into New York harbor. The tea, condemned as impure and unwholesome, was to be part of a protest event called the Tea party. The injunction was sought by importers.
