Legislation Passes for Governor Greenhalge Funeral Expenses

A House resolve proposed by Mr. Lowell and approved under Suspension of the rules provides for funds to cover the Governor's funeral and related expenses. The House adjourned to 1 30 as a mark of respect, and a joint committee met with the council to discuss funeral arrangements. Governors death mourned by Republican state committee

The executive committee of the Republican State committee met at headquarters Thursday afternoon and adopted appropriate resolutions on the death of the Governor. At a meeting of the executive committee of the Massachusetts Reform Club at 4 p.m. yesterday resolutions were unanimously adopted and the secretary instructed to forward a copy to the widow of the late Governor of the Commonwealth.
