Buckley was cleared of taking part in a bribery plot aimed at unseating the Quincy senator. Officials from his own party led the initial inquiry and released a statement outlining the exoneration.
The committee on rules, after hours of hearings and explanations by Senator John J. McDevitt of Quincy regarding his conduct and other cases, exonerated Representative John H. Buckley of Dorchester who was named by McDevitt as the man who proposed bribe suggestions leading to charges of bribery.
Investigation into Frederick Prentiss Forster alleges he misused over 373000 belonging to Mrs. Caroline Frame while acting as attorney. Attorneys for other estates report nearly 1 million dollars missing, plus 100000 spent during the shortage. Aboard claims include brother H Waldo Forster and Susannah Felz cases, with an attachment forcing funds to be tied up from sales near Yonkers.

Fritz Henry Raddin a former deputy United States marshal died at his Swampscott home after a lingering illness. Born in Lynn on April 20 1848 he was appointed in 188? and served under six United States marshals in Boston. He later served as paymaster and was regarded as a popular officer.
