The first chorus of 20000 voices is filled with a second forming for week two. The Grand Orchestra directed by J Thomas Baldwin includes top artists from the U S and Europe. Rehearsals proceed despite weather as the festival runs June 17 to July 4 with plan for a grand ball and possible Strauss conduct.
