Crew to Paris all Boston eight eyed for world sculling

Boston rowing clubs met at Union Club boat house to plan sending an all Boston crew to compete in the world championship sculling events at the Paris Exposition next summer. The plan favors an eight to uphold Athens prestige though some fear breaking up strong fours and eights. A feasible route would send Metropolitan and Fourth of July winners to Harlem and, if successful, to Paris. Decisions await Metropolitan B A A on March 14. Inter scholastic oarsmen will train under Union Boat Club supervision once coaches are chosen.

Harvard Princeton Reach Baseball Pact For Series Play

Four Die in Plainville Washout Train Crash

A southbound New Haven railroad train derailed two miles north of Plainville due to a washout. Four people were killed and seven injured.
