McCall Names Briggs Again to State Boards and Appointments
Governor McCall sent four new appointments and two reappointments to the Executive Council. The special commission will study data for the upcoming constitutional convention with members William B. Munro Roger Sherman Hoar and Lawrence Boyd Evans. Reappointments include Frederick L. Briggs and Frank J. Tuttle. Briggs, a Boston embalming board secretary, has long served and helped the board turn a surplus into the state treasury.
