Young Charlestown boy linked to forgery in Portsmouth

Er nest E French, 16, of Charlestown, with Miss Charlotte Blaisdell, was arrested in Portsmouth after a $200 check and a $50 check drawn on the Old Colony Trust Company were found forged. The boy had hired a car from Boston Motor Cab Company and claimed plans to buy a Maine farm.

Baby killed when car crashes into loaded passenger auto

A six month old boy, riding with his parents and six others near the Bedford Billerica line, was tossed from his mother's arms and fatally struck by an approaching car after a collision hurled the vehicle against a telegraph pole. The child, son of Mr and Mrs George Hardy, died last night.
