Miss Katherine B Brown of Melrose High announces her engagement to J Thatcher Sears a teacher at the same school. Sears a Melrose graduate class of 99 and Harvard 1903 joined Melrose High as English physics and geology instructor. Miss Brown a Melrose High graduate this evening among ten honored, announced at her home 268 West Emerson Street. Sears is popular with pupils and may leave to study medicine at Harvard next fall. He is about 25 and she about 18.
