Ancient Drill Produces Liver Cup Victory for B Company

Last night at the Irvington street armory the Ancients held a final drill before Europe departure. B Company won the solid silver Liver Cup after a sharp contest judged by Colonels King Welling ton and Carter. Sergeant Frank Huskins received the trophy from Surgeon J Booth Clarkson aboard the steam ship Servia. Clarkson lauded the honor and noted the Ancients as honorary Royal Colonial Institute members. A battalion drill followed, then officers dined at the Parker House. The Servia Cephalonia and Carinthia cruise schedule and Cunard staff duties were highlighted amid a busy port scene.
