Zion Evangelical Lutherans dedicate new West Newton church

The Gothic edifice on West Newton Street, built on the Unity Church site, cost over 60000 with parsonage. It features cream brick, a 165 foot spire, antique oak interior, frescoed borders, stained glass memorials, and Thorvaldson Christ statue. Charles Spencer, Spanish War hero of San Juan and El Caney, was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery after dying of pneumonia at Massachusetts General Hospital. Three men alleged to operate in Charlestown City Square robbed Samuel Bolser of 2 dollars after beating him early yesterday.
