Belmont Morgan gold reserve restored to full strength

The U S Treasury reports the Belmont Morgan syndicate deposited 1 000 000 in gold restoring the reserve to 100 890 855 with 6 000 000 still owed. Law may allow gold certificates once the 100 million limit is exceeded though the Treasury will discourage their issue. Assistant Secretary Hamlin confirms no contract modification and that foreign gold import obligations remain intact.
