Death of Ralph Cracknell Expert Golf and Cricket Writer
Ralph Cracknell a noted Boston newspaperman and golf editor of the Globe died at his Back Bay home. Born London May 27 1863 he came to the United States in 1884 and built a major career in Boston journalism including posts at the Post and Globe. He was a respected sports authority and member of the B A A Oakley Country Club and Longwood Cricket Club.
