Mrs Alma H de Cordova will receive fifty thousand dollars alimony as part of an agreement following her divorce for cruel and abusive treatment by her former husband.
The agreement becomes absolute in six months and the divorce decree mirrors it. If Mrs de Cordova remarries she loses alimony rights. Alimony funds are paid after a trust ends, with Julian Dana de Cordova to receive the fund. The divorce suit, heard quietly by Judge Crosby in Suffolk Divorce Court last week, had only Mrs de Cordova, her brother, and a Back Bay physician as witnesses. Mr de Cordova appeared to contest but withdrew at the last moment.
