C D Cobb and Company announce continued free delivery for orders of twenty dollars or more within one hundred miles of Boston. The service began nearly twenty years ago and offers low prices on first class goods to families beyond the city as well as near Boston. Monthly price lists are mailed to any address.
Washington reports a 24 hour forecast starting June 23 with southerly winds and slight temperature changes for New England and eastern New York, including local rains. A separate notice indicates showers for southeastern New England. Weather data from Boston Observer's Office Signal Service dated June 22 1887 at 3 55 p.m.

In Hyde Park a Jubilee fête drew 30000 children as the Queen and Prince and Princess of Wales visited with royal guests. Children crowded the platform, sang God Bless the Prince of Wales, and cheered the Queen as she arrived. Gift ceremonies at Buckingham Palace followed, including a 75000 pound ladies’ fund for a Windsor statue.
Constantinople reports M Nelidoff and Count de Montebello addressed the Porte with a threat of war if the Egyptian convention is ratified. Sir Henry Drummond Wolff declines to modify terms. Ratification postponed until after the Bairam festival. situation described as disquieting.
London June 22 The Thistle has reached the Clyde flying seven prize flags and will contest eight more first class yacht races there before sailing to America. The first race is scheduled for next Saturday. It is hoped Fortuna will reach in time to join the final four matches. Manchester June 22 A terrific explosion occurred at Robert Dale and Co s chemical works.
Ottawa June 22 The Hon Mr Foster minister of marine and fisheries says reports of heavy American fishing inside the three mile limit are unreliable. He notes cruisers follow fleets by day and port by night and that little illegal fishing has occurred this season.
The Providence of the Fall River line went aground at dawn on the east side of Dyer's Island between Newport and Bristol Ferry in thick fog. Passengers were landed by boat and trains. River Queen, Dexter, and other vessels assisted, but salvage was unlikely at high tide. No leaks were reported and the ship remained stuck on a soft mud bottom near its normal path.
Saratoga N Y June 22 The Army of the Potomac reunion elected officers with J C Robinson as president and Samuel Truesdell as treasurer. Next meeting set for Gettysburg July 1 2 and 8 1888. Chauncey M Depew spoke on Civil War themes praising unity and warning against slavery. resolutions to return rebel battle flags laid on the table. Notables present included W T Sherman and F D Grant.
A London dispatch reports Mrs. Blaine's illness worsened after a Sunday prostration and led to bed. She briefly arose to view a royal procession but was accompanied back to her house due to fatigue. Only intimate friends have access. invitations are being declined. Dr Verndon would not detail the illness.
Firemore June 22 Westminster held its 150th settlement anniversary with bells and salutes. A large crowd heard an ode by Mrs. Sarah B. Whitney of Boston and an oration by Rev. William S. Heywood, a native. 750 dined in a large green tent as Mayor Fosdick of Fitchburg spoke and local delegates offered remarks. John M. Moore of Gardner read a poet.

They face charges of conspiracy to defraud via issuing three $100,000 drafts to Wilshire Eckert & Co and false reporting to the comptroller of the currency. New York later saw Broadway National Bank attach $2,175,125 against Fidelity’s property.
Frederick Evans captain of the Hartlepool of Hartlepool England sues the Bergenland of the International Navigation Company for 30000 over a May 11 collision off quarantine. A cross libel for 36000 has been filed against the Hartlepool.

The Maine claimants report 218 of 8307 men, but the line calls this bluff.
Louisvillle dispatch reports the Martin Tolliver feud reaching a fever pitch in Morehead Rowan county with Craig Tolliver and ten followers barricading in a Cottage Hotel. A volley by a 200-man posse killed Craig Budd and Jay Tolliver while Tolliver Hiram Cooper died of wounds. Cate Tolliver escaped. The feud has left twenty-one dead and many maimed since August 1884.
