New London June 21 A female victim died when an explosion tore through the steam yacht Cristina owned by Frederick C Fletcher of Boston a member of the Eastern and New York Yacht Clubs The incident occurred as the vessel weighed anchor near the Thames river course shortly after 7 o clock local time More details on cause and casualties were not immediately available
