Wore Daniel Webster's Hat At Nantasket Beach Reunion
The Old School Boys' Association of Boston held its eighteenth summer reunion at the Atlantic House Nantasket Beach. About one hundred attendees enjoyed sunshine and barge transfers to the hotel. Members, including former pupils and Old Men's Home inmates, gathered for cordial remeetings and the famed hat of Daniel Webster was tried on by many. Captain Camrell alone wore it perched above his ears. An excellent dinner followed as President Monks led brief speeches and patriotic songs closed the event.
