Belmont Slugger Lunata Captured After Escape Plot
Dominico Lunata alias Dominick Donato, wanted for attacking three women in Belmont and famous for an East Cambridge jail escape, was arrested in the North End by Reserve Officer Cavagnaro. He struggled to seize a knife but was subdued and taken to East Cambridge jail after a two hour chase amid a crowd. Sheriff Fairbairn says Lunata, who claimed to have wandered Boston, awaits Crimi nal Court action following grand jury indictment.
