Miss Gertrude A. Lovering 23 from Somerville was found dead with her head submerged in a bathtub at the Hotel Hollis. The medical examiner says accidental drowning occurred while she tried to shut off the water after filling the tub.
A hotel bellboy found a woman dead in a bath after two hours of water running. The traveler registered as Madeline Miller from Hollis Street Theatre, later identified by notes as Gertrude Livermore. Her mother had died recently. she was last seen entering room 401 with a private bath.

Irma A Gurney wife of Gurney died recently at 28, daughter of Mayor Moore. Her funeral drew citywide turnout with flags at half mast. Gurney was arrested at the graveside on a forged check case from Stoneham, later to be arraigned in Woburn. He is 34, tied to two young daughters Marion and Ethel.
Beginning June 17 limited cars for Worcester leave Park Square on the hour according to the summer time table. The notice instructs travelers to consult the timetable for exact departure times and dates.
Earle L. Ovington reports from the air over Boston after being invited by the Boston Post. He states he is the first aviator to fly over his home city and will pass over all parts of the city, sending regards to Post readers.

Names mentioned include Sister Nivedita Miss Margaret E Noble and Miss Josephine Mae Leod known as Jo Jo and Yum, a worker in the Indian cult.
A Boston aviator describes a 28 minute flight from Waltham Aviation Field to Boston and back, covering about 33 miles at over 70 mph. He crosses Boston Harbor, flies over Newtonville and Back Bay, calls the feat the most dangerous yet, and notes pride in seeing familiar landmarks from the air.
From roofs and streets of Boston yesterday crowds witnessed two record over city flights. Earle L. Ovington in a Gnome driven Bleriot monoplane covered nearly 33 miles from Waltham field over the city and back to the field in 28 minutes 29 seconds. Harry N. Atwood, the Wright flier, also flew for the Wal tham meet amid cheering spectators.
