Paris June 12 The Associated Press reports a complete accord in principle on all questions in the German reply including Silesia, admission of Germany to the League of Nations, and reparations. French and American circles express gratification after weeks of difficult talks near deadlock.
The accord leaves only drafting work, with delivery of the document to the Germans expected by Saturday night. Negotiators anticipate final wording by tomorrow night, enabling formal steps after completion.
Miss Carrie Wortell of Athol died in Gardner Hospital after being found unconscious with a fractured skull in a lumber yard near Lord Pond. Police have no clue to an assault and believe she may have fallen while wandering in the dark.

About 500 breeders attended. A bull sold for 5100 dollars and another cow 7500 dollars. Thomas J Murphy paid 5200 for Nancys Mintmaster. Auctioneers were George Bain Lexington Ky and George W Baxter Elmira NY.
Captain Alcock and Lieutenant Brown report a second successful 40 minute trial flight in the Vickers Vimy bomber. The biplane climbs to 5000 feet and maintains 120 mph as engines and wireless operate perfectly. The pair plan to attempt the London Daily Mail prize flight tomorrow between 1 and 4 pm.

Israel Chase Earle aged 79 a Civil War veteran died yesterday afternoon at Emerson Hospital after a two week illness following an operation. His home was 14 Herbert Street West Somerville.
At 3 o'clock this afternoon fighting between Mexican federals and rebels under General Angeles was in progress near Juarez Agricultural College four miles south of Juarez El Paso reported the engagement as it occurred in the area.
Americans returning from Juarez reported Mexican officials warned Villa men were near the federal trenches at the race track a mile and a half south of town. A Day master-general said fighting raged about three miles east with Angels forces appearing superior to the federals. Civilians were to be ordered from streets and establishments closed by nightfall.
American League results show Boston beating Chicago 4 0 and New York topping Detroit 6 1 while Cleveland won 5 1 over Washington. St Louis defeated Philadelphia 5 0, and Chicago beat Boston 3 1 with Pittsburg 5 Brooklyn 4 in the National League. Lowell edged Lewiston 2 in the New England League as Portland prevailed 9 4 over Haverhill and Fitchburg won 11 5 at Lawrence. Eastern League games saw Springfield 2 New Haven 0 and Providence 3 Hartford 0 with Pittsfield 7 Waterbury 1 and Worcester 3 Bridgeport 2.
