President Wilson told Irish society representatives in America he would unofficially press the Irish question with the other peace commissioners. The statement comes as Allied efforts move toward presenting a reply to German delegates tomorrow.

The Yankee is 2418 tons, 296 feet long and 40 feet wide, built for the U S Shipping Board in Cleveland in 1918, sailing from Newport News to New York on June 6.

Hagan and Brady contest the 18 hole playoff this morning starting at 10 o clock to decide the title. The match marks the second tied finish in the national open and ties for Mike Brady, Oakley pro, as a partner in the tie.

Batchelder a 28 year old lumber and grain merchant of Plainfield Vermont filed marriage intentions to Ida E. Fuller a 40 year old of 1089 Boylston Street Back Bay. Friends say the couple were married though the bride would not confirm by phone.
Frank P. Walsh and Edward F. Dunne announced after a 30 minute conference with the President that a promise was given in response to a Senate resolution urging the American delegation to secure Irish representatives at the peace conference.
