Electric Car Ditches In Putnam Area Injures Six
A six passenger East Connecticut railway car 601 jumped the track near Putnam in the Roadville district late last night plunging into an open sewer trench eight feet deep. Stones and dirt from the trench being cleared likely cluttered the rails after children played nearby. None seriously hurt. several had minor bruises and were transported to town by a special car.
