Dividends Declared by Several Rail and Mining Firms

The Boston Revere Beach and Lynn railroad company declares a $3 per share dividend payable July 1. Providence and Worcester railroad declares a semi annual $3 per share dividend. Evening Star mining company approves dividend No 13 of 5 percent payable June 14 to shareholders of record June 11. Dearwood Terra Gold Mining company of Dakota declares a May dividend of $40,000 payable May 20. Transfers close June 15. Boston and New York Airline preferred stockholders expected a small dividend. Louisville New Albany and Chicago company to declare 40 percent sirop dividend to facilitate consolidation with Indianapolis and Chicago line.

New York June 10 cotton held steady as middling prices rose to 11 1-16c with Upland, New Orleans, and Texas options in demand. Flour market firmer with strong export demand. sales reach 25,508 bbis with prices from 4 50 to 6 25 for various grades. Wheat receipts 187,300 bus, exports 1,478 DIS, prices climbing about 1 1c with spot and futures activity. corn, oats, and other commodities show varied gains and steady demand across multiple grades and locations.

Moore denies wife maintenance claim in Sheffield County Court

In a Sheffield County Court case against Moore for supporting his wife, he claimed the woman kicked out after he brought another woman to live with him was the wife of a friend and that he bought her for a pint of beer. The woman received medical treatment and entered the workhouse. the case was adjourned.
