Indians retreat as troops approach. an estimated 360 encamped in lava beds. Boise citizens mass to aid settlers. Gov Brayman condemned. Fifty men enroll to aid, not under the Idaho governor. Brayman telegraphs denouncing the day’s actions as unjust.

Murderous assault disrupts Lowell family on East Merrimac
