Henry C. Hamilton a 56 year old flagman at Winthrop Beach station of the Boston Revere Beach and Lynn rail road was knocked down and robbed by two men near Shirley station late Monday night. They stole $7.25 and left toward Ocean Spray leaving Hamilton shaken but uninjured. He cannot identify the assailants and police have no clues. Hamilton formerly ran the Colby Cafe in Winthrop.

Firemen from Wilmington seven miles away aided as the blaze threatened to engulf the town.

Ocean Racing Yachts Head for New York Finish
Endymion leads six yachts in the Atlantic Yacht Club ocean race from Sandy Hook to the Delaware Breakwater and back. The fleet appeared off Atlantic City yesterday, with the last boat clearing the lighthouse at 7 15 p m. The distance to New York is about 100 miles and they finish today.
