A coat, trousers, vest and hat were found on the Malden River bank near the gas house by a Ward 2 resident who suspected death by misadventure. Everett officers later reported locating a man in a near-naked condition at 1 am, believed to be the same individual, but police will not release his name.

New Hampshire man shoots self in Dock Square bar
Timothy C. Warren, 45, of East Cambridge, attempted to kill himself in a Dock Square bar yesterday afternoon. A bullet entry through his temple and another in his chest left him near death at Massachusetts General Hospital. His sister links the act to an earlier robbery and head injury five weeks earlier. Mrs. Warren remained at the hospital all night.
