Trains Collide Head On. Engineer Killed In Ohio wreck
At 6 o'clock this morning two Cleveland & Pittsburg freight trains collided head on between Summitville and Millport. Both engines and twelve freight cars destroyed. John Liebtag of Cleveland, engineer of the northbound freight, crushed to death and burned. Brakeman Frank Wilcox of Wellsville with probable fatal injuries. Accident blamed on Engineer Li Coween disobeying orders to sidetrack at Summitville. Loss about 25 dollars.

Samuel A. Parker Dies in Wixcuenpon At Age Fifty Nine
Samuel A Parker died at his home after a five day illness of bronchial pneumonia. He was fifty nine and had long served Baxter D Whitney as foreman and later superintendent of machine shops. He helped in the Wixcuenpon fire department, was a Royal Arcanum charter member, and was prominent in the Baptist church.
Two Steel Workers Burned in Explosion at Edgar Thomson
Andrew Ludwig and Peter Whalen laborers at the Edgar Thomson Steel Works suffered severe burns from gases and metal discharged by a furnace blow pipe. The explosion occurred as they worked near the pipe. They were transported to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh with injuries to arms and body.

Lost his left hand in jig saw accident
