Market steadiness after investment securities advance noted

Gold reserves rise as Treasury pays out coin on strong demand
The Treasury’s rapid coin payments push the reserve toward 98 million dollars, nearing a technical 100 million cap. Analysts say the dynamic undermines the 100 million fetish and bolsters confidence. Gold exports to the United States grow, and UK investors rush to American securities as Republican silver policy floods. Repeal of the silver law by Congress would cement favorable conditions.
