Thomas M. Walsh, the marine killed on Chelsea street Wednesday night, was buried yesterday afternoon with a soldier’s honors in the Naval Cemetery in the hospital grounds Chelsea. Simple funeral services were conducted by Chaplain Royce of the receiving ship Wabash and an escort of eight men in charge of Corporal Thomas Molloy from the navy yard fired three volleys over the grave. Six marines acted as pallbearers, and the funeral services were attended by Lieutenant Fuller and about fifty marines from the barracks. The grave was decorated with flags and flowers offered by outside friends of the marine.
