Paris July 28 The French government says it has trustworthy information that an attempt on Premier Poincare's life is being plotted in German monarchist circles.
Information of the alleged plot was flashed to the foreign office and the prefect of police. Police and detectives surrounded Premier Poincare’s train and kept crowds back at the railway station as he traveled to his Meuse country home for the weekend.
Four submarines named L-5 L-6 L-7 and L-8, built in Long Beach, left Los Angeles Tuesday for Hampton Roads as part of a 12 boat flotilla to be decommissioned, and were reported missing off the Lower California coast south of Ensenada.
