Boston Chamber of Commerce Petition vs Railways Overcharges
The Boston Chamber of Commerce petitions the Interstate Commerce Commission claiming Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway and two other lines charged higher rates for shipping flour grain and provisions from Chicago to Buffalo and on to New York, by more than three to six cents per hundred pounds or $18 per car since April 5 1887.
