Woburn report of a $10,000 suit against Francis K. Sweetser of Stoneham spurred attention. The Registry of Deeds confirmed the attachment on record yesterday. Murphy, the plaintiff, is the man Governor Russell appointed clerk of the Fourth District Court at Woburn, while Sweetser has charged against him to block confirmation. The Governor's Council heard the charges last week and will continue the hearing tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Forecast from Washington on Thursday partly cloudy conditions with possible local thunder storms in Maine and southern New Hampshire. Maine to see warmer eastern areas and cooler western portions with westerly winds. New Hampshire and Vermont mainly fair with morning showers possible in the south and cooler southern portions. Sailor John Tree, 40, fell into the hold of the steamer Worcester at Lewis Wharf around 6 o'clock. He was carried to the City Hospital with a probable skull fracture after falling about twenty feet.
A startling discovery at No 15 Allston Street reveals the decomposed body of lodger John W S Marshall suspended from the ceiling. Marshall, about 60, kept to his room, paid rent promptly, and mystery surrounds his life and absence since Friday night. Police will search his room for clues to relatives and motives as Rev James Reed is notified.

Ansonia Connecticut reports United States Treasurer Morgan his wife and daughter with a lady friend are at Bonnibrook the treasurer s summer home in Huntington. Morgan will join next week with his private secretary Watson and Secretary of the Treasury John G Carlisle for fishing and rest.
Haverhill July 26. Osias Dubreuil a 24 year old factory worker is dead after a stabbing and fall from a Concord and Montreal train. Friends suggest rival suitor involvement over a married woman possibly planned in Sun cook. Two men arrested at Sun cook are named as suspects but details are scarce and investigators in Lowell will examine the case.
George P A Currier, a salesman for Warren and Blanchard of 77 Chauncy Street, was found dead in his bed at his father's Worcester home yesterday morning at seven. Death was due to an apoplectic stroke suffered last June. He was 48 and single.
Thomas Walsh a 25 year old private at the navy yard died after being found with three cuts near his left eye on Chelsea street Charlestown. Police believe a fight with two companions led to his concussion as he fell and authorities arrested 17 year old James J Mullen on suspicion of involvement.
Bridget Murphy aged 30, an employee of Mr Wainwright, was badly bruised and internally injured after an alleged fall from an electric car near Ashmont Station. Conductor Thomas Landrigan disputes her account, saying she jumped off as the car slowed. Doctors say recovery is possible.
The Hon. Josiah Quincy said he is not a candidate for mayor or governor and will not announce any run. He noted Mayor Matthews may be nominated if he agrees to run, and he expects harmony at the convention with the party accepting its outcome. He plans no fixed resignation time and will not stay in Washington beyond the current administration.
